Andy Poyiadgi’s four page comic ‘Teapot Therapy’ is a masterclass in gentle and touching storytelling.
The book shows us how a lonely pensioner invites a workman to her house so that they can chat and sip tea together. The teapot itself becomes a character (at one point even commenting within the conversation) along with the two adults and it speaks to how we relate to each other on a broader canvas through the ceremony of pouring a cup of tea.
